Not much to report on, kind of a slow week. Highlight was meeting my parents and lil sis for breakfast yesterday, which is always a great way to start a morning. Tomorrow is Mother's Day, so I'll be visiting my parents. After I post this, I'll be working on wrapping up my gifts.

What a great Saturday! Got together with my sweet friend. We visited a mutual friend who is convalescing and undergoing PT to build up his strength, followed by dinner and celebrating with friends on the union victory.

It's been a whirlwind weekend, one of my busiest in a while. Weird, three years ago this type of weekend schedule would have been fairly typical. With COVID-19 (HOPEFULLY) ramping down, hopefully it will be normal again. It's just so good to see people.

Took vacation days off Friday, today and tomorrow. Feels so good just to chill and recharge. Nearly caught up on Inktober (though I don't expect that to last long). What a lovely summer we've had so far! It's been rainy and damp, but I prefer that over drought. My container gardens and flower beds love the rain, for the most part. Wow, it was mid-70s at least today, close to 80. In March. And it's not even spring yet (technically Spring arrives Tuesday.)It's supposed to stay this warm for the foreseeable future.
